This will be a perfect result as far as I am concerned

More papering over cracks I’m afraid, his lack of ideas says it all about what Gareth Southgate represents, look at the young attacking talent we have and it’s going to be wasted by this **** in a waistcoat who can’t play a system without 5 defenders or 2 CDMS

The euros will be the same old, as soon as we play a good team we’ll be out.

Disappointing.

**** me.

Although I have a definitely genuine, covid free Scotland flag I could rent you for the summer. Stick it in your window and see how it goes during the Euros, yeah?

Southgate is a product of the Uber beige “Team England” which was partly created by Dan Ashworth

Are you insinuating that Brighton can in anyway be considered BEIGE? Wow just Wow :lolol:

Or is that just another little dig at Potter???

2-1 no panic

Tournaments all that counts and last one we got semis

Chill

We beat Sweden, Panama and Tunisia, absolute worldy of a success that.

It’s the equivalent of getting to the FA cup playing Dunstable, Raith Rovers and Met Police.

No I’m stating for a fact that Southgate was appointed while Ashworth was at the FA.

So it WAS a dig about Potter. Southgate is not fit to lace his boots imo

I'm not Scottish.

But although ten years ago I wouldn't have believed it, I prefer now to support the others. For all those reasons people have given earlier in the thread and I also resent the way boring internationals pepper the season and disrupt the real football. Why can't they play midweek like they used to and not end up spoiling the flow of the league season? And FIFA.

Which we’ve never done

We got to the semis ! Record books and the fun we had all summer say as much

Cheer up . That’s football

Perfect outcome. Southgate lucky his team didn't have to face Lewandowski.

I think we can all be happy with tonight’s outcome?

Fair play to Maguire, he's nothing special as a defender but he can score.

He's pretty decent, and you're right can score (and is good at set pieces defensively too). The issue that most B&HA fans don't seem to get is that his skill-set and weaknesses are very similar to Dunk, yet Maguire is a bit better of the two. Once that's been established, then they can't play together at international level.
