Yes - very annoying - the whole screen gets taken over by an ad.

I had this earlier but only once. Pc using Chrome.

When you say the "screen gets taken over" is the URL still an NSC URL or has the page been re-directed to a different site?

AkA Interstitial ads

I’ve just tried to give another poster a thumbs up and an advertisement popped up, the same happened when I clicked on my notifications.

I've not made any changes and have no interest in putting obtrusive ads on.

Can someone please explain what "adverts popping up" actually means in terms of what is happening so I can investigate?

For me it happens when I have clicked on either the ‘thumbsup’ or ‘quoted’ option in Notifications.

And can I please have my minor infractions from 2011 removed please, while you are about it?
