The very fact there is this thread shows the OB tactic of ejecting a few fans might prove to be a deterrent to others who might transgress in future...

Or maybe not :yahoo:

Yep, most kids will never have heard that word before. Jeez, what is this, self-righteous week? I thought it was Comic Relief.

??? What the...?

Bet your sex life is incredible mate. "Darling shall we catch the last night train up the wooden hill to Bedfordshire so I can stick Mr Pee-pee into your furry tiggywinkle?"

Call me old-fashioned, but in the circles I mix in we just don't use the word "wanker" in the company of the fairer sex. And actually I think they appreciate that we don't. I'm sure your wife/partner would too if you bothered to ask her, but I'm certain that such a self-centred individual would not even begin to consider anyone else's feelings.

Oh get over yourself, it was at a FOOTBALL match. It's this gentrification of the game that is turning it into an experience more akin to visiting a museum than participating in what is essentially our only remaining tribal ritual. You should be able to let off steam by swearing (within reason) and giving opposoing players/fans a bit of grief. Where else can you do that now? That's why it's important not to sanitise it to the extent that people like you would like to. If you want a nice polite family day out where you won't be faced with any of our more base nature there are plenty of sports to choose from.

Sorry but this thread stinks of macho bullshit and half truths. The early evidence is the phrasing of the thread title. For " Did anyone else........." you can translate to " I secretly quite proud of getting arrested and and now I can go an anti police rant". The othe clue is the very early throwing in of the "marine" info. Oooh you are steely eyed killing machine and those cops don't know how close to death they were.

Act like a pissed up twat and then you may get arrested and as others have suggested I can guess there were other reasons for an arrest.

also the retraction of the more macho "arrested" and changed to ejected". Being ejected is what happens to boisterous teenagers. Real men (like his mate) get arrested and fined £80. But he's been married over 30 years.
Not sure of the point I am making!

I wonder if Sureyya got arrested, he seem's to be a bit of a 'rude boy'.
