Anyone else a bit meh about the winter Olympics?

Ice hockey is taken SO seriously in Canada that it's only ever called hockey.

Presumably over there that inferior, Roedean-type game gets called grass hockey?

Summer is packed with different variations of running a bit, swimming lengths and cycling round and round...

If you want padding look no further than Kirrin! It is great purely because it is ridiculous!

I just find that particularly with winter Olympics it seems like there's loads of very niche events that are all different ways of sliding down ice, it does, to me, very much feel like someone sitting down saying "we need to pad this out" and adding loads of things that really boil down to very similar.
