Anyone drive to Upton Park?

I was so put off by all the reports of M25 closing that we ended up getting the train from Angmering via Horsham.

Did anyone drive? Was it really that bad? Or are you not back yet?

dreadful - know of people who turned back. Some coaches left Brighton at 11am and arrived at half time.

There was a fatal tanker crash on the M25 last night between Godstone and Sevenoaks. I was going to see my Godson in Hertfordshire today and saw the warning sign on the M23 just before the M25 turn. I would have gone that way, but saw the sign and went the Heathrow way which had surprisingly little traffic. I went for a very nervous walk through Shenley, but was like a little boy when I saw the result on Ceefax. Virgo's sending off spoilt it somewhat though.

We did fine by car. We went the wrong way round the M25 to avoid the crash scene, and then went on the M11. Made it by 1.30pm

No I was on the same coach as Fran Hagarty and Braders. There were three coaches that travelled together.

My mate that brought me home drove up via Crowborough and Tunbridge Wells and had no trouble at all. Easy journey back that way, too.
