Anyone been to Sofia, Bulgaria?

Sofia has some very pretty buildings but a fair bit of shit to went skiing in Borovets was great most taxi firms are run by the mafia so if you complain they soon put it right ,they love the brits !!

Went over when England played there in 2011. I quite liked it but then I do have a thing for shit Eastern European countries

One thing we found was that there were not many bars or clubs open on a weeknight, Monday -Thursday. As a result we "had to" end up in stone strange underground fetish club run by a Janet Street Porter look-a-like which was quite the experience.

Definitely try and find one of the pop up bars in a park as they are cheap even by Bulgaria standards and I would thoroughly recommend eating in a Happy Grill. Dinner there consisted of more meat than Elton John could gobble through for under a fiver
