Hamilton Jr is feeling wiped out as well, but I think it’s more to do with the barrels of Guinness he consumed in a bar in Rome watching the Six Nations.

Picked up Covid up North two weeks ago - this strain is a bad one!
Sorry - I know it wasn't Rome

just heard from some of our bunch, quite a few hit by it by sound of things, just about made it back last night, got in the door and fever hit, plus scratchy throat, horrible headache. Gawd bless the inventor of lemsip. Not going today but was hoping to and see us bounce back. Get better soon those who have it.
Get well soon.
Fyi... don't take lemsip if you've been diagnosed with an enlarged prostate!!!

Interesting how so many of us got ill after Rome, as I did too😂. The second I got home I felt horrible, which continues onto Sunday, yesterday as well as today. I still dragged myself to the game though 😂

It’s all due to being crammed in those buses breathing in each others breath at close range. That and the train journeys and flights where we are confined and not a lot of ventilation.

Wasn’t there a similar thread after Marseille?
All those foreign germs!
But Get Well Soon, brave travellers 😊
Sitting in a metal tube for 2-3 hours with over 200 people is bound to spread germs & viruses. I wore a mask last Oct just to fly to Belfast. Since I retired, I don’t get half as many colds as I did sitting on a bus every morning and evening.

Sadly there wasn’t one after Ajax. It would have been amusing to see what folk took home with them from the ‘dam.

Maybe it’s best there wasn’t.

Talking of which, what is it, with all the snotty advertisements on tv lately? The sickening snot in the Kleenex ad with a slogan of Save the Sleeve, and Boots where the bloke eats nuts, just spat out by a snotty girl.
I’m glad I wasn’t eating.

I think the Pot Noodle ad beats all the snotty ones for vileness. It's beyond me how anyone would want to eat a Pot Noodle after watching it, or how all those responsible for approving that ad would think anyone would.....I'd rather have a bowl of snot noodle
