Which is why I mentioned the Starbucks model, where you are given a slip of paper with a one-off password. The organisation of the passwords, printing them, distribution, refunding 'failures' etc., would be time (therefore cash) consuming - all for a couple of hours of usage every other week.
If this was to be considered, the project would be outsourced - and the companies who would tender would be those who install similar systems in hotels etc., resulting in you - and me - getting pissed off with the Amex WiFi subscription policy.
I'm not aware of the Starbucks model, I use the Cloud with o2.
And for all those talking about people using their phones at the game, unfortunately the world has moved on a lot since back when everything was black and white. Peoples thirst for information is greater now and some people need real time, up to date information. Plus, live banter is better than retrospective banter.
