I was mildly amused at the concern expressed by the Daily Mail over the lack of access to condoms & the morning-after pill on board such vessels. I'd have thought an unexpected shortage of Viagra, sherry and arthritis medication would have been more of an issue.

Well, I can't speak for every passenger, but after the evening meals and drinks, socialising in the evening, more drinks, a night cap of three, midnight buffet, more drinks....if anyone is still up for a bit of rumpy pumpy after all that then good luck to them.

Personally it's a sit out on the balcony watching the stars and listening to the sea, then straight off to bedddy byebyes.

Bloody shattered after a day's sightseeing , eating and boozing.

Nov/Dec Carribean - bloody knackered all the time,..... or just full and tipsy,..... so the odd knee trembler apart, we were fairly chaste.

None of that nonsense after a day trudging around the Antarctic Peninsula followed by a free bar in the evening!

Having said that there were two youngish couples doing the trip as their Honeymoon - they were probably a good 30 years younger than the rest of us....
