Now Cheltenhams over I'm withdrawing funds from small bookies as some may not survive without EPL etc.

There's currently 42 leagues around the world with games on tomorrow as shown on Betfair. Admittedly, some are a bit obscure and I'll swerve the Bolivian league but Craig Noone's Melbourne City game should be good for a few goals as should the games in Singapore. Still plenty to have a dabble in.

So . Say it was 2015 2016 season... and you were one of the punters who had 20 quid on Leicester to win the league... at this stage of the season people were being offered quite sizeable cashouts.. if this happened. You would be rather pissed off wouldnt you.

Over the weekend I’ve learnt I don’t know much about horse racing, so stopping until the football returns

Tried a small 8-fold BTTS covering Russian, Turkish and Ukranian matches today just for a bit of interest, despite knowing bugger all about their football. Got 6/8 in

Betting firms set to suffer
Betting firm Flutter, which owns Paddy Power Betfair, says the cancellation of sports events at home and abroad will "have a material impact on the revenue and earnings of the group".

In 2019 the firm generated approximately 78% of its revenues through bets placed on sporting events.

A statement said: "We estimate that in a scenario where restrictions remain in place until the end of August (including full suspension of Australian sports and the cancellation of Euro 2020), ebitda (earnings) for the group would be reduced by approximately £90-110m."

Chief executive Peter Jackson said: "The challenge currently facing our business and the industry more widely is unprecedented in modern times."

I bailed out and removed all cash from my Smarkets and Betfair accounts this evening.

I found myself backing or laying on overseas horse races, either with awful or extra risky odds. From a silly need to keep the betting project moving.

I now need the willpower to wait until the football season fully resumes.

Me too. I started ProfitSquad tmorrow his time last year, the casino offer emails are now flooding in as the sports markets have dried up.. I haven't done any casino offers as my bank is still quite small. I'm calling it quits until normal service is resumed. The casino strategies scare the crap out of me to be honest. Too much fluctuation for me.
