Any plumbers on here?

I've got green tinted water coming out of my bathroom taps? Any plumbers on here who know what this means? Copper pipe corrosion? Smells a bit metallic too.

Is it safe to wash in this water until I can get a plumber in, what with xmas period?

My kitchen water is normal so at least I can drink.

If it's coming out the hot taps, and you have a hot water cylinder, it could be scale/corrosion from that

If it's a house, then it's likely that the bathroom taps are fed from the tank in the loft, whereas the kitchen cold tap will be direct off the main.
I would say it's safe to wash in but I would check the cold water tank to make sure there's nothing in it if you can.
Have you tried running it for a while to see if it draws through ?

Its a flat, hot and cold taps and i've tried running it through. Thanks for replies.
