On a side note, I have been thinking about getting into photography for a while as a hobby.

I have to admit that I am a complete amateur, so can anyone recommend any decent courses for me to start off with?

I started with the Nikon D3000 (now been replaced with a new version).

Perfect for people stepping up into DSLR photography!

I have leanrtn very quickly from watching the cameral labs.com vids and this dude:

He is awesome and helps a great deal, dont afraid to avoid the simple modes and going onto the more manual modes!

Good luck and enjoy...ps the hobby will get expensive!
