OK.

A bit mixed up, in cryptic crossword land means, an anagram.

Almost insane, means it is almost (but not quite) an anagram of 'insane'.

Northern Hemisphere.
So Naylor is hinting at Zohore being signed and some NSC intheknow reckons Niasse is going to be signing very soon.

If it were a choice, I'd choose Zohore. Zohore looks likes he has something a bit magical about him. I reckon he could turn out to be a star for us playing in the number 10 role. He must have some class if Fiorentina signed him when he was just 18 years of age for £1m.

May be wrong but thought the deadline day was the last point for loans as well so not convinced we could bring a keeper in after it closes
Correct.

Only free agents after Aug 31, and a space in the 25 man squad must have been left free for them.

For example, if albion only named 24 players, they could then sign, say, Shay Given after the deadline as 3rd keeper.

No, Naylor is saying we are no longer pursuing Zohore.

"Albion have now cooled their interest in Kenneth Zohore after making a seven-figure bid for Cardiff’s Danish striker, but they remain in the market for another forward as well as Dwamena."

Can't see why keeping Hemed is that important unless he wants to run down contract. If we want better options now in Prem surely it makes sense to cash in now and use the money. Dwamena's signing maybe not as straightforward as Izqueirdo's!
