I did it three years ago and it involved me being emailed a form which I had to complete and scan and email it back. I rang customer services who sorted it out, eventually. It might have changed by now for something simpler, one might hope.

I suspect a form with a specific name written on will be posted to you and you will need to attend Lancing with a recognised form of ID before the change can be made.

Probably go smart causal as well to be on the safe side

I have recently attempted this rather trivial matter without success. If you speak to Supporter Services they email you a new DD form. Fill that in and send it back to them, you will then get a replay saying thanks and we'll pass it onto the finance team to process. That was 2 months ago and nothing has happened. I have chased and they have apologised, The account it comes out of is now closed so if they don't get it sorted in next couple of weeks the January DD will fail, which will no doubt focus their minds.

Any deviation from black or blue ink may result in personal sanctions which may include, but not limited to:

1) Piglets pie access withdrawn and replaced by Ginsters
2) The humiliation of using plastic cutlery
3) The curtain in your box being permanently drawn regardless of your alcohol status
4) Your personal banking details replacing the words of GOSBTS on the big screen for 3 matches

If you are collecting money by Direct Debit you have to ensure the customer has read the Direct Debit Guarantee wording in the UK. I've never seen the ability to change the account in the online portal. Therefore they will have to send you a paper form to return, part of which will be the Guarantee.

There's also a period to wait after setting up a new instruction before you can collect the payment from that specific bank so the amount you're due to pay could come out of your account on a different day to normal, so make sure you have the funds in the account until it's confirmed as taken.

Must admit to breathing a slight breath of relief after reading sanction 1)

Piglets could have been replaced by Pukka steak & gristle, now that would have been akin to torture.
