Would have been like having your own private box. Fantastic view.

Can remember back in the eighties, I couldn't get a ticket for a home game against Leeds. Managed to pursuade a chap if l could view the game from his front garden in Golstone Lane.

Alan Biley scored in a 1-1 draw if l remember rightly.

Coincidentally I walked down Goldstone Lane today and was amazed that the original 'perimeter wall' was still there. They are digging up a big area behind/and or on the site of the South Stand. Goldstone 2?

Fairly sure it's going to be apartments.

That is not the original wall.

Could see all but north east corner flag from garden,lounge and bedroom! Could even see part of the pitch when on loo:rolleyes: Had the house next door to George Aitken really nice bloke,i also believe that Mark Lawrenson owned the house a few years before myself,could be wrong???
I bet you see plenty more action out of the front windows???
