When NSC's resident American, Peever, came over with his mum last month, I took his mum along with a friend and my son, to the Shepherd and Dog in Faulking.

What a truly lovely pub, with the gardens being part of the foothills of the downs.

That pub, to me, epitomises Sussex for what it is, glorious.

Fancy one?

There was me thinking Peever was Canadian, Faulking was Fulking and the Sheperd and Dog was ludicrously over priced!
