I'm not wringing my hands. My hands are secured safely, interlocked behind my head in a manner suggesting "it is what it is"

Anyway, I'll let you lot crack on worrying. Enjoy.
Jeez, if 'it is what it is' then why comment at all? You are like a vapor floating around this thread bringing absolutely nothing to the table. Agree something can be done and give suggestions, disagree and say it wont change and explain why, but don't just float around the thread typing pointless rubbish like 'it is what it is'.

The West Upper is key. Only when the WU joins in does the atmosphere really sound loud IMO. The NS is too small and too far away from the away end to really keep the atmosphere going. Home atmospheres tend to be quieter but I do think moving away fans will help somewhat.

This.

The west upper has the volume of fans and the acoustics to make the difference.
On the handful of times they have got involved en masse, the noise has been impressive.

It's grim oop north
Just hope those in charge at least consider this

Surely these European managers experiencing the ultra culture must come to the uk and wonder what's going on.

I'd we can congregate the singers, all behind the goal, not interfere with current STH and have them near the away end surely that's a win/win??

Can anyone do a new post and add a poll? Along the lines of

"If the club organised a section behind the south stand goal for singers that was also close to the new away end from next season onwards, would you move there?"

The north have had their chance, bring on the south stand singers.

Creating a few extra corporate lounges in the north should do the trick then.

Since posting this we've seen some really quiet atmosphere home games

Wondering if there is a possibility and/or interest to actually move all people wanting to sing, to be together behind the South goal

Not only having all singers finally together, but next to the away end for improved atmosphere

We wont ever get another chance with a whole stand available for new ST holders to move to

I'm in the North and would happily move to the South with the rest of the singers. Think we need the NSK on board though, and I suspect the majority won't want to move.

Or, leave the North to the NSK, so they can mold it as they wish.

Bad idea to move the singers in the North to the South IMO.

They will not out-sing the 3K away supporters who will be next to them so the atmosphere wont carry over to the WSU and other parts of the ground.

IMO anybody who travels to games using the trains are unlikely to move to the South. The amount of fans in the NS who leave before full time, even on Sunday, is extraordinary, if they are doing so to catch trains then they will just leave five minutes earlier if they are in the South, there may be an increase of fans who use the P&R of course who can leave five minutes later form the South.

It still won't change the fact that the NSK are the main singing group who sing their own absolute nonsense for 80% of the match, their way or no way. While the group under the scoreboard are living in the 80s, every match "give us a B" as if it's going to get 30000 on their feet, most of which only care about singing along to Freed from Desire or some other generic shit anyway.

Running from the south stand around to the north stand can be done in about 30 seconds. Id imagine it's a non-issue.
