Remeber them miming on top of the pops - well not miming just sitting there. I think it was some kind of protest.

Yes saw AAE live quite a few times, last time was at the Dome in Brighton. Will have to have a listen and see if its any good.

AAEs cover of the Jethro Tull song The Witch's Promise was always one on my fav live tracks!

Yes yes yes!

Saw them 4 times in 6 days on the Scarlet tour - Brighton (Tues), Portsmouth (Weds), Hammersmith (Fri) and Astoria (Sun).

Made it onto the 'December' video which was filmed at the Astoria show.

Kissed Julianne Regan round the back of Hammersmith Apollo.

I remember watching this bizarre episode originally. Was the song called 'Martha's Harbour'?

Apparently, it was not a protest, but some technical problem, as singer Juliette Regan (?) was unable to hear the pre-recorded song (artists had to mime in those days) until part way through, so poor thing stood there wondering what the hell was happening, waiting for her cue to start 'singing'. All very odd.

She was a bit of a goth hippy-chick (hung around with Wayne Hussey/The Mission, so not surprising !)

Wonder what she's doing now.

Got her own website, but more tellingly on Facebook as well. Not reforming AAE, and not wishing to tour. Now singing parts with the Eden Project.

I saw them at the Brighton Dome the night England played Italy U20 at the Goldstone. Baggio played I believe.
