i did bugger all for gcse, and got 7 a's. they are easy
got my a levels in a few weeks time. havent even started revising. luckily though i only need 240 ucas points for uni, which shouldn't prove too hard

I had a 3 hour A level Economics exam during England vs Tunisia in '98. We had arranged to get a taxi up to our house from the sports hall so we could avoid any celebrations etc. and watch the recorded match. Then some daft bint walked up to me, in our 10 minute break between sittings and said "Is it still 2-0 England?"
I also missed England Brazil last cup, as I had a mock public inquiry for a degree module. I had to leave the pub, just before half time. Mind you, bit of a blessing in disguise really. Seaman
