Seeing as the new (and apparently improved) NSC is now almost totally unworkable to oiks like me (it's horrible Bozza, please bring back the old site) and I couldn't get the 'search' engine to work, this is probably a fixtures.

But, in case it's not...

Some twat has just started a 'Say no to Falmer' group on Facebook. Not surprisingly, most members on there are students.

"I only just discovered this group by accident. Falmer is possibly the wrongest (is that a word? it is now?) site in the local area to build a home for the Albion. Waterhall is the best choice. It already has the main road and rail links in place and even has a history of hosting football games. The objections are pathetic.

As a long time local resident who happily owned a house overlooking the old Goldstone Ground through the dark days of the demolition, I am no NIMBY. Overall, I have to say that the club has suffered terribly through the whole affair. Well, since I was there I think Sussex uni has closed most of its decent bars, Falmer bar was always crap and east slope is a proper student dive.
