Not one to get involved in the Palace /Albion thing, appears that Gardner has been linked with us. The guy is 30 ( I think) so probably not in the usual range that GP would consider.

Perhaps he may be considered on a 6 month contract, with review at that time, but of course the player may find something more interesting.

Interesting for me. If I was worth 5k a week I'd want 8k so understandable, but yes 16k to play for palace and even then........

Someone I know with contacts inside club has told me we are trying to get an expensive player - valuation higher than CMS but he wouldnt say. He has been right about most things so far. I know - not very helpful.

Gardner played at Spurs with Tanno and Gus so there could be a link, he was close to signing for Brum at least until McLeish resigned.

30 is a great age for a centre half, I would say thats when a centre half is in their prime personally.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE can use you quote properly. I don't know why, but it's really starting to get on my nerves, as soon as I noticed, I haven't been able to stop noticing it. Almost every thread seems to have a post from you, and 95% of them seem to be you quoting somebody in your own f***ed up way.

If you press the big button which says "Reply With Quote", it sorts it out for you, and looks better IMO.
