Who is going to Farnborough for 1pm with their camera? The private jet due in from Seville later is currently flying down there from Farnborough. Sounds promising.

A lot of guesswork in that post.As you said earlier with FR saying here we go all this panic by other posters is not necessary FR has direct info from agents like it or not that part is obvious. Naylor takes pleasure winding up Brighton fans online which I find bizarre as we are meant to be his target audience. He’s thrown the interest from the un named la liga club knowing exactly what he’s doing and sadly some idiots fall for it.
Exactly this. People slag off Naylor for not jumping on the bandwagon when he’s simply waiting for some facts to report. He can be seen as a bit of a club mouthpiece but that doesn’t really matter In broader terms for the Athletic as they can publish the externally sourced information through other journos like Ornstein. That avoids straining Naylor’s longstanding relationship with the club and allows him to get good access for longer in-depth Albion pieces. It makes perfect sense to operate in that way. It'll be because nobody outside of the people directly involved in the deal, and perhaps people getting leaked info, really has any idea what is happening.
Journo's and Twitter mouthpieces will be getting bits of 2nd or 3rd hand info and parroting it out, some of it lagging behind the actual process and probably contradicting something someone else reported previously.
Which is why it's best to just wait for Naylor to say his piece.
Not saying he's a sick note, just that by all accounts he isn't as good now as he was before his injury, bit like LampteyHe made 51 appearances last season in all competitions (many as sub). Not exactly a sick note.
Damn - I'm due at the Montefiore Hove tomorrow evening for an appointment so could have been the on site reporter for NSC if it had been 24 hours later.Should be at the Montefiore by 16.30 then for his medical.

Unquestionably true. Or at least, the injuries have slowed down his development. Remember, when he was being touted as generational talent he was 16-18 so it's all relative. The idea he was one of the best players in the world at that point is daft. For his age it was clear though he had huge potential and was one of the hyped teenagers in the game. Not saying he's a sick note, just that by all accounts he isn't as good now as he was before his injury, bit like Lamptey
Do you honestly not think that Mitoma, Enciso, Ferguson etc are at least 25% as good as an 18 year old Fati!?If he's 25% as good as he was before his injury, we've still have bagged a worldie.
If we can get him to 90%, this will be a Vicente moment on steroids.
No one. The plane current flying down there is flying back to Biggin Hill. Due to land back in the UK at approx 3:15 this afternoon.Who is going to Farnborough for 1pm with their camera?
Well, we played both Welbeck and Ferguson on Saturday. Presumably one of those wouldn't have played if Fati was availableFati isn’t a centre forward though. He plays on the left wing or as a No 10. He’s covering for the injured Enciso.
So his arrival won’t impact on Evan’s opportunities.
Feels a little strange that we wouldn't put a release clause in Kudus' contract, but are happy to loan a player in the same position and return him for nothing in a year. The similarities between this and the Kudus thread are striking. The initial suggestion, the mocking, the positive twitter links, elation, elation, elation, the teary eyed reminders of when we used to pay for players with tracksuits instead of money, the disputes as to his best position, the Norwich gag, the flight radar and Biggin Hill stuff.
Now at that point with Kudus, the despair set in
Let's hope for a happier ending
Well ... i'll head up to Farnborough just in caseNo one. The plane current flying down there is flying back to Biggin Hill. Due to land back in the UK at approx 3:15 this afternoon.
We would have been paying £40m for Kudus of courseFeels a little strange that we wouldn't put a release clause in Kudus' contract, but are happy to loan a player in the same position and return him for nothing in a year.
If plane goes straight back to Farnborough we will know its a no dealWell ... i'll head up to Farnborough just in case
Any helicopters due to leave Biggin Hill for Shoreham Airport mid/late afternoon? No one. The plane current flying down there is flying back to Biggin Hill. Due to land back in the UK at approx 3:15 this afternoon.
yeah, but the release clause would have been more than that.We would have been paying £40m for Kudus of course
Not if he’s just cover for Enciso though, it’s masterful if we pull it off and he is not in fact a sick note….Feels a little strange that we wouldn't put a release clause in Kudus' contract, but are happy to loan a player in the same position and return him for nothing in a year.
