I guess it means we’re stumping up something like £6m-10m to have him for a season. Given what forwards cost, the worldwide publicity that’ll make the club more attractive to other youngsters, the value of keeping De Zerbi happy, all the other transfer money we’ve taken in and the chance he could be sensational, not a bad deal I suppose. Very different to our normal approach but feels like an opportunity that came out of the blue.
