Surprised at this one. I've been overwhelmed by it. The cities are surprisingly beautiful and clean. The people are friendly and the restaurants (and beer) are fantastic. What's not to like (for a small place)?

My experience of Belgium (Sunparks) was with the kids. Maybe I need to go back sometime.

The trouble with identifying a particular "country" is that the best bits and the worst bits don't happen at the national level. They are much more local. I'd happily recommend bits of Belgium to anyone - and, with equal determination, I'd steer people (and myself) away from other bits. The same applies to most (probably all) countries. Although I never found the cruddy bit of Liechtenstein.

anyone been to Costa Rica?

could have the option to go out there in the summer. i realise that our summer is their rainy season in some areas but just wondering if anyone has been and would recommend it?
