Who gives a ****? Too many people get in a pickle over nothing these days.
MEP for Kent calls a lady constituent "a ting tong", they really are thick arent they?
So calling somebody mental or stupid is racist now, is it? NSC had better be closed down pdq then!Calling a Thai a tingtong means they are mental, stupid etc against what the MEP thought was a Little Britain insult and she is one of their MEP's, no wonder they will never have an MP

It makes me want to cry the state of British politics. Please can Labour get a new leader and go back to being the working persons party.MEP for Kent calls a lady constituent "a ting tong", they really are thick arent they?
Still doesn't offend me personally...you can call me every name under the sun about my culture or colour of my skin...I would see the fun side of it....It's humorous in my opinion.Maybe its just a generation thing?to many people get seriously offended by the littlest thing's these days.Just British Humour ....... which would more than likely be highly offensive to the people at whom the remark is directed. And I say this as someone who doesn't regard himself as a slave to political correctness.
And UKIP says it isn't racist.

Its like this country has a new breed of pussies that get offended by anything
Our british humor is renown world wide...we have a sense of humor that no other country can match.British humour? Little Britain is the biggest pile of dog turd I've ever seen and if you like it you really are mad!
Oh, it's to do with cats, is it? I thought calling people 'Pussies' was a polite way of calling them something else! You can't call people pussies anymore, because that now offends people who love cats. People getting offended over all the wrong things.

Yes I 100% agree, but not little Britain, maybe its because I hate David walliamsOur british humor is renown world wide...we have a sense of humor that no other country can match.
I have spent time in france and am aware that they call - or at least used to call - is les rosbifs, after our national dish. I do not find that offensive, and appreciate it is funny.
But that is probably not a very good example. If someone is likely to be offended, it should not be used.
And when you say it may be a generational thing, how old are you? I turned 61 last month, so am not in the first flush of youth myself.
On behalf of every pussy cat in the country, I am deeply offended by that remarkIts like this country has a new breed of pussies that get offended by anything
