My dear old mum passed away in her sleep last night aged 75.

It’s because of mum that I’m such an avid Brighton fan, she went to Chelsea away on a bus from Brighton when she was 6 months pregnant with me.

She’s had health issues over the years but still a shock to get that call this morning, to say I’m in bits is an understatement.

Fly high mum, love you so much x

Very sorry to hear this. I lost both my parents last Christmas and even though they were 87 and 88 it was still a massive shock to the system. It won’t be easy over the next 12 months but your memories of happy times will keep you going.

Remember the good times and the lovely legacy she has left you. Be kind to yourself it gets easier but it takes time.
