My dear old mum passed away in her sleep last night aged 75.

It’s because of mum that I’m such an avid Brighton fan, she went to Chelsea away on a bus from Brighton when she was 6 months pregnant with me.

She’s had health issues over the years but still a shock to get that call this morning, to say I’m in bits is an understatement.

Fly high mum, love you so much x

My Mum is the reason why I support the Albion. I can never thank her enough. Queueing in the rain for me
to get tickets when I couldn't.

So sorry for your loss.

Yeah... my mum took me to my first game at the Goldstone in about 1968. I probably didn't thank her then, and now it's too late to.

Enjoy those you love, while you can.

I'm very sorry to hear this news.

Her love for the Albion has clearly been passed to you.

That's a wonderful ongoing legacy to leave and something for you to cling to in the sadness.

Really sad news to hear, It would be good to think Albion's great performances against Chelsea were for her.
