Another reason for me not to drink at Starbucks...

My delicious comment from Middle Farm refers to their cider! :drink: Isn't that locally produced? I thought it was but I may stand corrected!
They produce a very small quantity of their own 'Pookhill' Cider, and sell hundreds of other varieties from all over the country.

Have a look at this page of their website to get a flavour of how the "farm" is inventing its own version of English agriculture.

"Playful rabbits and guinea pigs" are NOT, repeat NOT, farm animals.

But don't get me wrong. I like the people, they are my neighbours and they provide local employment that keeps the local community going.

Hmmmm thanks for that Lord B. shame really....I guess at least it is English cider then, as opposed to trucked in from god knows where ever...

Just wish the farmers markets were more than once a month here in Shoreham, I know they are in Steyning and Worthing also on other Saturdays of the month, but driving to a farmers market sort of defeats my "green" grocery buying ethic, instead of walking to ours here... I'm not the greenest of consumers in the world by a long shot, but I'm trying....
