Interesting too these days that if you want a genuine match report, you soon discover it's fan blogs that are most likely to provide it. Go read the BBC Sport match report, and then read The Sun, Football 365.com and the Mail Online reports (in the right hand column). Cut and paste jobs – abysmal.

How many national papers actually send a reporter to games these days? Sign of the times, I guess. Wouldn't have got away with it in my day ... (mutter, grumble, dribble)
