It will be interesting to see what Hyypia does if he has a choice between a fit-again Stockdale and a still-on-loan Al-Habsi.

We know they've been looking but perhaps, they haven't managed to find a player who given the following is right...
- apart from fact we already have 5 fit first team strikers
- you have to find a striker who is appropriate to play for only 6-7 games max, needs the game time, is of sufficient standard, club happy for him to come, can guarantee him game time, and you can GUARANTEE will perform better than Colunga etc , and yes presumably wages will be a factor.
- Also obviously assuming all of the above fall into place and you're absolutely sure they will add something to our existing squad and that they will be scoring goals / playing well then it begs the question how come they are available in the first place?
Good post - and then after taking all of those considerations into account, as David Burke and his team surely have, we have previously ended up with the likes of Obika and Lita!!
Give Walton the chance, did very well at spurs so deserves it
And Conway and Upson.
Walton has to play Tuesday anyway.
Agreed, he was sensational that day. Stopped us scoring a hatful. If Al Habsi plays as well for us as he did against us at The Amex last season we look good for at least a point today.
Delusional!!It begs belief why our £1m no1 keeper who is on a 3yr contract and out for 3 weeks is kept on?
You're absolutely right. He's missing a couple of games, let's terminate his contract. Because that wouldn't be a waste of money would it?
Clown.
2 goals in 45 min ...not the debut he wanted but looks ok
Delusional!!
He played well despite our defence, not because of it.2 goals in 45 min ...not the debut he wanted but looks ok
He played well but stockdlae is far far better
