I see Bristol Rovers have got permission to re-develop the Memorial Ground into a 18,000 capacity stadium. Its only costing the £16million, and will take only a year to build. It will be ready in 2009.

An interesting point to note is that the development is being part funded by a hotel, restaurant, and 118 student flats built into the stadium.

It just makes our Falmer saga even more depressing.

And you would think Falmer would be perfect for this way of helping pay for the stadium, but it would only make the local NIMBY's even more angry.

im sure the old fogies in the crowd will be telling Brighton and Sussex uni students to turn music down as its disturbing their sleep:jester:
