Not a corrie fan but she has been in the show as long as I can remember.

Absolutely shocked. Have grown up with Corrie, it'll never be quite the same again.

A friend of hers, a fellow actor, told my sister in law a year ago that she wanted to be partly written out of Corrie and only come back from her home in Spain to record for 3 months of the year, for 1 month every 3 or 4. Didnt say she was unwell. He did say what a lovely lady she was RIP Anne.
