Any police officer who lets loose with one of those in a a crowded place is likely to cause more death and injury to innocent bystanders than yer average terrorist

That's a bit of a sweeping statement, Tom. Take the London Underground, for example...

Tho that was, by definition, underground, Bry. Really wouldn't want to be anywhere in the vicinity of a police officer letting loose with an automatic weapon in say, the check-in area of the South Terminal at Gatwick, or the concours of Victoria Station in the rush-hour. It would be absolute carnage.

LB,small time insurance fiddle,you are a wind-up.

When you consider the sum involved, yes it is small time. Think about what crimes have actually been comitted and at worst it warrants a short spell in Ford.

Of course it is an incredible news story and absoultuely disgacreful behaviour to thier own sons but dont let cloud the non-serious nature of the crime.

In that case, it sounds like an easy way to make over £150k. Why do I bother going to work, when I could get that for a "short spell"?

I'd imagine the Air-Sea rescue folk are pretty pissed off with that twat.

Not to mention anybody who may have had genuine need for helicopter / lifeboat assistance during the time the Emergency Services were out looking for some bloke sat in the departures lounge at Heathrow.

I'd make him and his *cough* widow pay for that too.

A carefully calculated crime which they conspired over a five year spell.

It was a not a momment of madness, nor were there any mitigating circumstances.

Throw the book at the crims.
