Nestling in green nowhere
The sheer GALL of the stunted gnome going around hectoring Girl Gangs and Hoodies.."Why are you all, out getting drunk and fighting, why not stay in and read a book or listen to some Bach"

Bloody Tory BITCH, does she have absolutely no shame? no sense of Irony? It looks to me that most of the Kids she "Takes on" (with a heavy Police escort I might add) are the children of the Generation that her and her shower of shit "no such thing as society" bollocks Tories left behind...These kids are a direct result of Conservative mismanagement prior to 1997 and rather than having to watch her wagging her chubby little finger at them for being disenfranchised, we should be watching her and the rest of her crew being publicly tarred and feathered for what they did to our country.

I recently read the excellent "Freakonomics" which proves to my mind that poor social policy and neglect of the working class in one generation has massive ramifications YEARS down the line when the children of that generation reach an age to cause trouble...we are all reaping now what Thatcher and Co. sowed between 1987 and 1997

Get back in your box you malformed hag.

rant ends.

What rot.

Widdicombe is a fundamentally decent person asking basic questions to these little whores. The fact these hussies have turned out the way they have is as a direct result of bad parenting, and a far more enlightening interview would have been Widdicombe cross-examined the errant parents and not the streetwise, attention-seeking chavs.

In all seriousness, can you explain to me what the Tories have to do with it? Are they the reason there are so many single parent families out there, with kids who have no respect for anyone? If so, why?

is the correct answer.

I would say alot of it is down to education and poor parenting.

My sister has just inherited a class of misfits (year 11s) who are so badly behaved. Most can't read or write properly and some have trouble with their basic speech.

Maybe young people rebel because they see Ann Widdicombe and decide they do not want to end up like that.

Was it Maggie that made you join 'a' and 'lot' together to form one new word? Just wondering. . .

I have it at home somewhere, having read it about four years ago, so you'll have to excuse me for not remembering exactly what point he makes regarding social policy. However all that that book actually does is say "here's two variables that happen to coincide with each other, this is why I think they do". There's no attempt (from memory) to provide a burden of proof. The great joy of statistics is that you can pretty much pick and choose it to prove what you want it to prove.

Never mind about Maggie, if you were 14 years old and hanging around the streets in the dark drinking alcohol and getting up to no good what would your parents have thought, and what would they have done about it?

What happened to homework, dinner, telly/computer, then bed?

Widdicombe is a moron - Why would it be enlightening to see her interview the errant parents? What has she got to offer? It's just more shit tv.....

I guess you didn't appreciate the delicious irony of someone criticising the standard of education and then making an error out of only four letters?

I wasn't being serious. It was supposed to be a play on the aggressive nature of the Thatcher children.

Aside from that, writing 'alot' is a bad habit of mine that has never been corrected until today.

NB That was not an outrageous back peddle!

We had pre-teen kids running amok in our street at 1am the other night. Should've been locked up in bed five hours earlier.

Try and catch the Louie Theroux interview with her (series currently being repeated on Dave) very interesting. Away from her hard nosed political persona she is an oddball with some very old fashioned views and beliefs and still lives with her mother!

love the "its all the Tories fault" attitude; you could just as easily blame 60's/70's left wing ideals removing individual responsiblity and discipline. we are where we are and if she wants to address the problem right now, then she's doing a shit load more than many others. our social incohesion is a problem built up over a couple of generations and 40 years (at least), not going to be fixed quickly or at all if it remains a bipartisan political issue.
