Casper plays well. Most of the time. Like all keepers, he does make mistakes - but I felt more confident with things when Harper was between the sticks.

Come on people. He is paid to make saves, so what if he makes the odd good save? That's his job.
He makes too many mistakes and needs to be replaced.
Not all goalies make mistakes every few games, especially not ones that result in goals.

Can't believe that he's still our goalkeeper. We are obviously seeing this season as part of the learning curve and not as an opportunity to be promoted through the play-offs. With Ankergren, we have next to no chance.

Desperately need a new keeper but nearly all Brighton fans have known that for ages...

The blokes better with his feet than his hands not a great thing for a keeper
just looks at
most crosses from his goal line and if he's feeling really brave he might punch one badly
Blatantly not up to this level and will be amazed if we don't sign another keeper in January

How many other CLEAR CUT errors has he made directly leading to goals over the last couple of seasons?

Yes, clearly made one today by the sounds of it, still a top keeper imo

He is a decent keeper, and we are a decent team at this level.
When we are a good team in the division fighting for promotion, then and only then, you may have a point. For now he is a good keeper for us.

This, get behind the team, plenty of ups and downs to come this season

Not the real one
Good shot stopping, good with his feet (I find it infuriating when keepers long goal kicks go into the stand ala Perry Digweed), but not good on crosses, and prone to gaffs.

what a stupid comment, for us to get better and puch for promotion, we need the get better players in to replace the deadwood, casper is one of them who need to be replaced.

Probably is time to get another keeper in January, but the comments are still ridiculously over the top. He is superb at shot stopping and with his feet, but his inability to deal with crosses is letting him down.

The voice of reason. Bang on.

We've had a lot worse... A goalkeeping mistake is always magnified because he's the last line of defence. Just have a look at Blackpool's second goal at Southampton... now that was truly awful.

All players make mistakes, they are people after all. Casper is decent enough for our aspirations this season IMHO and no need for the panic surrounding his every performance. Not saying I wouldn't like a better player in his position but then the same can be said for various players in various positions, we are progressing at a sustainable pace which will continue in the coming years.

I didn't go to Derby but he had about one basic save to make in each of the Coventry and Forest games. Not quite sure why people are now saying that's some kind of virtuoso performance.

Fact isGus had good reason for bringing in Harper, for whatever reason he went back, but the reason still exists and will in January.

To be he was solid at Derby, for once.
