These aren't the players you're looking for.

A traffic cone would have been more dynamic than Eric Dier tonight. Dembele showed how to play that position perfectly.

Not only is he a genius, but did you see the Oscar winning performances from our boys? Me, I'd have been crap and laughed as I pretended to be disappointed.

Belgium vs Brazil :lol:

It was a masterclass in looking disappointed, football really is coming home. :wink:

You seem to have missed what was going on tonight, we had no intention of winning this baby. Semi-final here we come...:ohmy:

So no stress
Is anyone really bothered?

The fact is, we've come into this tournament with zero expectation. That's with our A team. Of course our B team wasn't going to be great. And despite that, we now have a reasonable chance of getting to the semi-final (less that 50%, but reasonable).

Wow Rashford can’t be your favourite person just now!

Rashford was a bit meh tonight. Rose, Vardy and the ersatz palace-bloke were all good. Otherwise the first team can sleep comfortably. Oh, and Pickford may need to be removalled.

I couldn’t have watched Monday and can watch on Tuesday so all good

Opposite for me :(

Oh well.

Wow Rashford can’t be your favourite person just now!

I still don't quite know how he contrived to miss that, but my disappointment about missing the game on Tuesday is tempered by my belief that we now have a better chance of going further into the tournament.

I might be at work, but football's coming home!

Tony Adams was a young defender vs one of the best strikers that ever lived Van Basten he then got dropped for absolute shit defenders. Lets not repeat the stupidity. Ferdinand got caught forward vs that Brazil game and got off scot free for any criticism.
Never rated Ferdinand. Complete liability

The positives;

Rose - Natural left footer gives us more balance and he’s far more dynamic going forward than Young;
Maguire - I really like this guy. Absolutely superb bringing the ball out of defence and always shows real desire;
RLC - A class act. I love the way he runs at defenders and commits them.

Thought Rose was poor defensively, but going forward was a positive.

Belgium 2nd XI hit shots on target with venom.

Best team in the group. Have been a force in world football for many years now.

England are a work in progress, with some poor back up players (Dier, Loftus, Delph, Jones, Welbeck).
Thank-you Sven

But will have to play;

Colombia
Sweden or Switzerland
Spain or Croatia

I reckon Semi final before being spanked by Spain.

ITV4 is worth a watch.

G.Neville, Wright, Giggs and Dixon are really concerned about rebounds caused by Pickford consistently spilling balls.

Opposition coaches will now tell their players to follow up all shots.

The trouble with all this is that the media will start to pick up on it, and we end up with a young keeper whose confidence is shot.

Personally, I would have played one of the others tonight, as we eventually could end up with a 1970 situation if anything happens to Pickford.

(Bonetti came in with no match practice).
