I voted butterscotch as I like to follow the crowd, but I just remembered my old mum's take on Black Forest Trifle. Chocolate Swiss roll, topped with cherry pie filling, which was then topped with chocolate Angel Delight. It was very nice. We are talking the 70s mind you.

Crushed digestive biscuits with melted butter, pressed into the bottom of a cake tin and cooled till set. Chocolate or butterscotch Angel Delight on top, let it set. Poor man’s cheesecake! 1980’s cheap dessert for my three hungry sons
