Anelka - was he fairly treated?

Brilliant. Now captain Patrice Evra, rather missing the point, has claimed this is nothing to do with Anelka, and all about the "traitor" in their midst who leaked the row to L'Equipe. So nothing to do with months of Anelka destabilising the dressing-room, trying to pick the team, undermining the manager (even if he is a joke), refusing to obey his instructions at half-time in a vital World Cup match, and then telling the son of a whore to go f*** himself.

Evra shows why, err, he shouldn't be captain. Some great light relief from England.

Watchin the boats go by
Might already be on the phone as we speak.

He can't play on Wednesday remember :yahoo:

The ONLY good thing to come out of last night!

For what its worth I think what Evra says sums it up. Doesn't mean he's a shit skipper (although he is), Domanech is a complete TWAT who has lost the entire squad and the fact Evra is more worried about the traitor means he agrees with Anelka and is more worried about protecting his players than the manager
