Cant beleive Ferrer was beating Djok 5-2 only for a tornado to stop play.

God these players cant they play in Tornados now

Typical Djokovic, moans about everything he does.

Glad Murray has made the final of a second consecutive slam, it will do his confidence no end of good and I actually think he might win this one now that he's in the final. He's got the best part of two days for Ivan Lendl to beat some confidence and self belief into him. All he has to do is play aggresively and attack. If he blocks back constantly, he's lost. Simples as that. Ferrer does NOT miss, he is pure attrition. If he's playing against Djokovic then you HAVE to attack him. He's phenomenal defensively, but if you let him dictate the play then you'll get thrown all over the court and lose as well. Djokovic beat him in the Australian semi final and Ferrer beat him in France, either the 4th round or the quater final. He smashed Djokovic at the Olympics but Djokovic is a hard court specialist. It is Murray's preferred surface too but even so, I think Djokovic would be too strong. If Ferrer can find his way past him, it would be fantastic for the sport. Either way, a new man would win a Slam for the first time since Del Potro won this tournament in 2009. Since then it's always been Federer, Nadal or Djokovic.

Even though I think Wiggins should piss it
It will be a very close call between Wiggins and Murray for Sports Personality of the Year if Murray is victorious in the US Open final

farah should win SPOTY and that's coming from a massive murray fan

though if murray beats djokovic my mind may change

wiggins shouldn't be a contender really

main achievement was as part of a team, in a sport britain have only started bothering about when the oppo was rubbish cos of all the drug bans. such a tainted sport. he was favourite to win that tdf on that course for a reason.

:lolol: Wiggins has also won 4 gold medals at Olympics, and a silver and a couple of Bronze medals. We've only bothered in the TDF because it's only now it's a fair race without the drugs. He was favourite to win because he's the best. Mo Farah :)bowdown:) has only won 2 Olympic golds, which is nothing in comparison.

If Murray wins the US it will be great - a grand slam event and the Olympics. But that's only great in the context of Britain being awful at Tennis. Other countries have athletes winning grand slams every year, it's not that amazing. Wiggins on the other hand, is the only cyclist to ever win the TDF and gold at the Olympics in the same year - an amazing achievement, and not just by British standards.
