Done, best wishes to both the chaps
The gents in Revenge. Ask for Big Tommy.I donated £200 and want my money back. Where can we meet?
My late dear Mum (RIP) always told me "If you have nothing good to say then say nothing." Wise advice.Have bunged in a tenner. But not impressed. An EHIC card is free and grants you access to the same medical rates as locals. And if you can't be arsed to do that, then bog standard medical insurance for a 3 day euro-trip costs less than 20 quid.
Basically educate yourself. You might think bad stuff only happens to other people. But guess what? You are other people. Ask anyone uninsured who came off a moped in Thailand. Their families need to Gofund tens of thousands of pounds to get their loved ones home.
Basically don't be a dick. If you can afford the flights and accomodation, then you can afford the insurance. NSC won't always be there to pick up your medical bills.
And... RELAX
Tho you went ahead and said it anywayMy late dear Mum (RIP) always told me "If you have nothing good to say then say nothing." Wise advice.
It's somewhat difficult to give wise advice without actually 'saying' it don't you think ? Unless of course you are a Jedi - pretty sure my Mum wasn't.Tho you went ahead and said it anyway
I have no idea what you are talking aboutIt's somewhat difficult to give wise advice without actually 'saying' it don't you think ? Unless of course you are a Jedi - pretty sure my Mum wasn't.
I’ve got 2 nice things to say, your mum sounds like she made of the right stuff and secondly its ok that you haven’t followed her advice on this board over the yearsMy late dear Mum (RIP) always told me "If you have nothing good to say then say nothing." Wise advice.
I've just done a tenner, fully knowing the details.Seriously doubt many - if anybody - would have considered funding the guy for 'stolen goods and lost passport'. Can I get my tenner refunded?
£200 won’t go far in there. The gents in Revenge. Ask for Big Tommy.
That's not what the post originally said until it was edited 17 minutes ago

Erm, I'd rather not have a blade in my arse, thank you very much - that also extends to Sheffield fans,I've just done a tenner, fully knowing the details.
We're part of a community, this is about helping one of our own and spreading the pain between us. All it needs is 50 people to donate less than the price of a couple of beers.
*edit* Although I respect anyone's right not to bother, I hate the peer pressure that can be attached to fundraising. Each to their own
