I’ve a Google Pixel 4a - really like it and not too big to fit in a pocket. Mrs recently dropped hers down the loo (don’t ask) and we picked up an as new one s/h for v little money. Our first android phones having been iPhone users for years - very easy transition.

Very happy with my mid range Samsung A52s 5g. Does all it needs to do very well with decent battery life and camera. Buy as sim free and then slap in a Smarty sim at £10 a month for 60gb of data.

Got a One Plus 9 Pro and battery life is awful. Only had it 6 months. My daughters 2 year old Samsung A5 outlasted mine last week when we went out for the day and she was on it much more than me. Great phone but crap battery.

I've just got a Motorola G82 with 5g. Slightly above Norman's Price Range at £249 on a "Black Friday" (ha, ha) deal from Currys but it's got 5g connectability and pretty decent battery life. If you are comfortable with Motorola's set up I'd say it's a decent upgrade from your existing Motorola.
