Well worth a watch if you missed it, when it becomes available online on BBC iPlayer or Youtube.

Powerful, poignant, defiant and dignified. Brilliantly written and perfectly delivered.

Agree 100% "Jumped Up Jihadi Johnny's..... We have stood up alone to the Luftwaffe".

"We have 1000's of Keith Palmers. The British People."

Can someone come up with a tune for that and then can we adopt it for our new national anthem.

What an odd thing to say. Her job is to lead, not fight hand to hand! That's the security services job and there will be a protocol that's followed, every country has one.

And the program ended powerfully too. Simon Cowell delivered a beautiful reading. I've just made a copy now because I thought it should be shared.

I am not asking her to actually fight (as well you know) but no doubt security would have been capable of safe guarding her. I was never the biggest fan of Thatcher, but IMHO the decision to continue the Tory conference the day after The Grand was not only correct, but the only one too take.

Parliament sat at usual yesterday, the day after the attack. Where's the difference?
