He had a habit of scoring good goals, but missing sitters. Great player when fit! But we need 30 games a season from a player, not 7. If he could do 30, I think he's worth a deal, but how do you know....

This is exactly my thought. He was brilliant during the first season, especially the second half of it. Really struggled with injuries this year and we can't afford to carry him. If it was just one season, you could say it was unlucky but he had a bad injury record at Swansea too.

Will always remember those goals at home to Newcastle and Blackpool. What a player he was on his day but I'd rather sign someone a bit less talented who will play 30-40 games a season.

The one positive about him is that he has more football brain than the rest of our midfield combined. Said to be weighing up his options with a number of Championship and div 1 clubs having made an offer to him.
