Didn't Andy Naylor dispel that - certainly a lot of the current squad interact with him on social media (Instagram) So I am not sure he is the black sheep that was made out

Doubt we'll see him again. Currently (or rather when he gets fit.. next year) he most likely got Maupay, Connolly, Murray, Gyökeres and Trossard ahead of him in a CF role, with another one likely to be added if Gyökeres leaves.

He's better than most of those.

Just in case anyone needs to see it again, Bernado spits chewing gum out of his mouth and tries to kick it on the half-volley. Unfortunately, Andone slows down to bend over to touch the pitch at the same time. As a result, Bernado catches Andone’s calf on his follow-through of the attempted half-volley of the chewing gum.

I assume people seeing it as a straight up kick have never tried volleying gum before!

For me, if he changed his attitude and wanted to stay, he'd be second choice behind Maupay until we get in that elusive striker this window

I think you’re right, but for personality reasons. Andone became disruptive and damagingly unpredictable. Clubs don’t tend to like a character like that in a squad, unless perhaps if they’re a very special footballer.

I think you’re right, but for personality reasons. Andone became disruptive and damagingly unpredictable. Clubs don’t tend to like a character like that in a squad, unless perhaps if they’re a very special footballer.

Yeah, I know it is, but maybe if Hayward was looking for a witty expression to describe the lack of love from fans, he may well have used that as the closest quip to that which he sought.

Oh ok, the way I read your earlier post made it sound like he was punching out team mates at training.
