Think Murray would have started v Burnley anyway. Time to see whether Locadia can play the centre forward role v Derby and Murray again at Leicester. Question as to whether we will see March and Knocky in the wide positions, and Locadia on the bench when Murray starts, so that Locadia can replace Murray after 65/70 mins?

Time for a tactical tweak, using a false 9 against Derby.

What can go wrong, given the success Poyet had in playing Vicente in that role against Swindon in the League Cup

No surprise , TV made too much of it

We've now had two strikers retrospectively banned because they were playing in televised matches and there was a shit-storm in the media (although tbf the shit-storm over Andone was to some extent self-inflicted by his own fans. Has this happened as much to other teams as it has to us? (Genuine question).

See earlier post by Stat Brother.......

Is Murrayoffside behind all of this.

Tomer was getting a foothold in the team, at Murray's expense and he gets 'done'.
Now Andone is pushing for Murray's place and a 3 game ban is coming his way.

Coincidence - I think not.

Such a pity he's a head mental. If he'd played the games Connolly has this season, we'd have an extra 4-6 points on the board IMO. Quality striker, but unfortunately he's a high-maintenance prick, which isn't going to work in a Potter dressing room.

Yeh, he scored some vital goals last season and was a real PITA for opposition defenders. I absolutely loved that he'd always foul his marker within 2 mins of coming on.

Must've been in Potter's plans initially as he featured in the first 2 games, didn't he?

I suspect Andone pushed for the move as he was disliked in the dressing room.

That kick from Bernardo probably didn't help.

Indeed. Came off the bench and scored at Watford, came off the bench vs West Ham, and then started vs Saints - where he behaved with all the self-control of Fred West at a pajama party, red carded on 30, cost us the game, and that was that. Clearly still had the hump after Bernardo booted him up the arse in the warmup that day, but it was an indication of how 'popular' he was.

One of the most frustrating signings we've made. There was a quality striker there, but just too much attitude and baggage.

Bang goes the summer move then. We're stuck with each other now, like a couple forced to carry on living together as neither can afford to move out!
