[Albion] Andone linked to Barcelona

While watching the Cup replay the other night on German TV, I heard the commentator say that Barcelona tried to sign our Florin last month as they are short of forwards. Brighton apparently refused so Kevin Prince Boateng was bought instead.

Is this common knowledge? Apologies if it's fixtures. Guess it shows how highly rated Andone is.

Barcelona short of forwards, that's like saying Chris Hughton is ruuning low on salt!

Given that it's a benchwarmer they wanted, and then they signed Kevin Prince Boateng, it's entirely feasible.


Andone has experience in this league.


It's a bit like Liverpool approaching us for him as back up to back up. We'd tell them where to go.

I don’t think it’s a ludicrous rumour at all. Barca desperately needed someone and he is an excellent striker with experience of Spain.

I think we’re really lucky to have him, he’s a cut above[/U].

He certainly is a cut above,as shown against West Brom ,in fact I`d have him down as a southpaw
