Tall rangy young striker, that nobody's ever heard of, with a six letter name beginning with a Z, who has scored a lot of goals at a lower level. When's that ever worked?

Don’t be so negative.

I’ve found an example of it working...

Zlatan. Malmö to Ajax!

Six pence none the richer

Ziqiri, beneath the milky twilight
Please me, when you are going to score
Lift your open hand
Strike up the band, and make the fireflies dance
Silvermoon's sparkling
Zeqiri

As per the Athletic from Andy, a little snippet:

"Zeqiri only turned 21 in June but is regarded as too advanced for the under-23s, having played regular first-team football at Lausanne from the age of 16 and featured for Switzerland at every age group from under-15s to under-21s.

On the other hand, the Swiss League — in particular its second division, where Zeqiri was prolific last season — is far removed from Premier League level. Brighton head coach Graham Potter will therefore exploit the period leading up to the January transfer window to assess Zeqiri’s first-team potential in training prior to a probable loan move in the new year to broaden his education."

As the great philosopher and legendary centre forward Glenn Murray once said- "It doesn't matter what league you are in, the goal posts don't move"
They do if your name is Trossard!

Not a clue what to think or expect... could be a work of genius or a strange waste of money!
