Hopefully he can get a decent loan move in January and get some playing time.
Agree... 100% he'll leave in the summer. Basel or elsewhere remains to be seen.If his recent interview is anything to go by he likely won’t be returning. Very happy at Basel and wants a permanent move.
Believe there’s a clause in the loan agreement also where they have a buy option.
Think it’ll be the best thing for him. Can’t see him working his way into our team.
Or a back up wingback?! Can't believe that Glow Up Idiot played him at wingback in one game....think it was Sheff United when he came on as substitute.Still think he looked more of a premier League player than Undav based on the limited evidence I had
Actually away to Southampton when we won 2.1 in one of the lockdown games he came on at wing back and played really well. He got a lot of praise on here for that game and was a crucial part of that win which was massive at the time.Or a back up wingback?! Dunno about that. He had some qualities and more importantly worked hard but he's first touch was really far from PL level.Still think he looked more of a premier League player than Undav based on the limited evidence I had
I suspect Undav is the new Ashley Barnes.Dunno about that. He had some qualities and more importantly worked hard but he's first touch was really far from PL level.
Undav is no world beater but a level above, imo.
Think the fact we agreed to a loan with option to buy move last summer means his career at Brighton was probably over long before this seasons emergence of Evan.Ferguson has put paid to any lingering chances he'd have had at BHA. He already looks 3x the player.
Probably yes - but have Basel (or anybody else in one of Europe's lesser leagues) got £2M quid to spare? - and is he really worth two of Viktor Gyokeres anyway? He’s now a full Swiss international and has netted a fair few for Basel.
I hope we don’t give him away or “nominal fee”. He‘s worth a few million surely.

They spent about €18m on 4 players in the 20/21 season and turned a decent profit on two of them. They sold Zhegrova to Lille for €7m and Cabral to Fiorentina for €15.5m.Probably yes - but have Basel (or anybody elde in one if Europe's lesser leagues) got £2M quid to spare?
The reason Gyokeres was sold for just £1 million up front was the "substantial" sell on clause - so we don't actually know how much the total fee was yet.Probably yes - but have Basel (or anybody else in one of Europe's lesser leagues) got £2M quid to spare? - and is he really worth two of Viktor Gyokeres anyway?
£2m wouldn’t buy you the best striker in league two so surely it would be a bargain for zeqiri . Basel have bought low sold high a few times so they must have a few eurosProbably yes - but have Basel (or anybody else in one of Europe's lesser leagues) got £2M quid to spare? - and is he really worth two of Viktor Gyokeres anyway?
No, but that was possiby partly due to the sale not happening if we'd demanded any more from Blackburn upfront, maybe? There's not much money floating around in the Championship either. The reason Gyokeres was sold for just £1 million up front was the "substantial" sell on clause - so we don't actually know how much the total fee was yet.
League 2 strikers go for more than £2M? - when one of the best strikers in the Championship went for just £1M (OK, with add-ons, but still).£2m wouldn’t buy you the best striker in league two so surely it would be a bargain for zeqiri . Yep, no questions about his attitude. Seems like a god lad, good luck to him.Think the fact we agreed to a loan with option to buy move last summer means his career at Brighton was probably over long before this seasons emergence of Evan.
Good luck to him though, he always gave his all when he came on, even when playing out of position. He's now getting to play for one of the biggest clubs in his home country, hes probably pretty happy with that.
