Was he just not picked today? I see Gyokeres was sub for Swansea so he got his international clearance quick enough.

2 week quarantine, and international clearance, and then a couple of weeks of training. Hopefully be ready in early to mid November. Looking forward to seeing what he can do.

Please be Bobby Z (mk2) and not Locadia (mk2)

Looking at his reel again (I wasn’t too impressed first time around, thinking he was €15m option), I’m much more impressed now. He’s as left footed as Aaron is right footed though. That said, there’s a lovely rocket into the top corner with his right.

If they can both start finishing with the other foot, we’ll be very dangerous.

You had me til the Solly March player of the season comment!

A couple of good games and everyone’s forgotten the last 8 year’s inconsistencies

A statement that tells me that you have an agenda.

Consistent is exactly what Solly HAS been over the last few years. Consistently decent, always works hard, defends well, 6's and 7's. A 'managers player'. No mean feat at this level.

The frustration has been that we can see (and keep getting told from those that see him in training) that he has the potential to be far more than decent. Now he is finally starting to show it (I suspect lack of fans means we are seeing more of how he plays in training) while still staying consistent. He was good last week when the team around him was playing well, and good again yesterday when they were poor. Albeit for only a handful of games so far.

I can absolutely see him being player of the season at this rate. Not to say it it will definitely happen. Way way too early. But it's far from 'laughable' as anyone with two eyes and a brain would see.

That has got to be tuff, moving to a new country in the middle of this shite and having to self isolate and possibly not knowing the language fluently.
Gotta feel for the guy, hope it works out for the fella

Sitting inside some probably posh pad, playing playstation, chilling with his Kosovan Netflix, facetiming mates and maybe some fit young girlies back in Switzerland, while looking through car magazines to work out what he's going to buy, when out next week with his new PL wage packet.

Must be really painful!

Note that in an u21 game vs France last year he scored 2 in a 3-1 victory against the following big names - Odsonne Edouard, Rayan Aït-Nouri, Dayot Upamecano...

In the starting line up for Swiss U21s euro qualification starting in 40 minutes against Georgia

Bit of a weird one that he’s playing tbh. He’s already said he’s going to switch to country of parents Kosovo, it was meant to have already happened except something with paperwork holding it up.... he’s now just signed for an English club in the PL, no doubt, itching to impress his new manager and play in the PL, so why travel to play again with the Swiss U21?

Even if there was some sort of contractual thing, the old headache, or twinge whatever to withdraw makes more sense..... he’s not going to play in the U21 euros for Switzerland, and he’s weeks away from formally switching to Kosovo, so why bother?

A heads up, I think if you have an account with Bet 365 you can watch the game on their website. You have to have money in the account.

He has also said he going to remain with the Swiss national side( I think)

From his wiki, same been in press.

"Kosovo
On 17 June 2020, Zeqiri's father confirmed that he has obtained the Kosovan passport and he will started the process of completing the necessary documents, which would allow him to play for Kosovo immediately after the end of the 2021 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifications with Switzerland U21.[8] On 26 August 2020, Agim Ademi, president of Football Federation of Kosovo confirmed that he was planned to be called up from Kosovo in September 2020 for 2020–21 UEFA Nations League matches against Moldova and Greece, but due to problems with documentation, could not be part of the national team."

Half watching the game whilst at work. Done nothing of note so far (that I've seen). Had a free kick, but hit it straight into the wall
