Very good result. Looking at the table, we are only 6 points behind Brentford in tenth place.

If we keep our good run going, we can push right up the league.

When we got promoted in 1979, Alan Mullery said we were on Cloud 7!

SATURDAY
Bristol Rovers v Hartlepool,
Carlisle v Stockport,
Gillingham v Colchester,
MK Dons v Tranmere,
Oldham v Millwall
Southend v Wycombe,
Yeovil v Exeter
MONDAY
Charlton v Orient

every chance that results could go in our favour while we have a weekend off from league football.

a win against stockport could lift us up 2 or 3 places and increase the gap away from the drop zone

To be honest, I'm not too concerned about the relegation picture because, like last season, we'll flirt with the lower reaches but noone will ever genuinely believe we're going down because we're just not. It just isn't going to happen.

I reckon that there were points last season where more than one or two of us thought we were destined for relegation...

When Lambert put us 1-0 down at Brizzle that Tuesday night, it did look all over.

By the end of that game, though I was equally sure that we were going to be okay!
God bless Lloyd Owusu, Calvin Andrew, Adam Hinshelwood and Doug Loft!

I kind of agree. Last year we did look down but I am very confident we won't even be near relegation by the end of the season.
Mathematically clear with 3 or 4 games to go, I say

For that reason, I thought the Villa game was more important yesterday. I wanted extra time so as to give more reason for O Neill to rest his best players Saturday:lol:
